this is not what i was looking for i wanted something like a chartplotter with map capability i have everything bracket data cord box books works perfect if you know how to use hand held! make me an offer!

When you were asking about its charting capabilities, I thought you might have the wrong unit.
Chartplotters are the only way to go. My buddy is breaking down and getting one this year (the same one I have, he really liked it and figures I can teach him how to use it !).
I have not taken my handheld out of the case since I got the CP.

baby and wife are awsome
i want a chartplotter/fishfinder combo probably wont be till next summer but this handheld is good for hunters hikers etc! itll get you from point to point but wont tell you whats inbetween its not what i wanted! I want my "onstar" put on boat so i can just call my operator and say where am i; can you show me the way back with out hitting anything! LOL!

they have what you're looking for, just costs money. each chart is a certain price for the the area your looking for! how much for hand held GPS?
