Fuji ergonomic reel seats

Anybody used or have any input on the Fuji ergonomic reel seats? They look like they might work out quite well. Not sure which end goes up from the pics. I would think the opposite way they are pictured in the catalogs so that they clamp up and not down.

I'll second that, the NPS seat is a big step up over a regular reel seat.

Built a few rods with the ergonomic seat. All the buyers appreciate the comfort and in the cold weather like the idea of less metal to wrap your hand around. Caution, check your intended reel foot for fit. The NPS #18 doesn't fit the VS reels. #20 works and is the biggest size in that style. My Mitchell 302 snuggly fits on a #20.

Got it. Does seem a bit on the small side, but perfect the rod I am working on right now. Seems to be very comfortable. Can't wait to get in in the water.
