Movies you cant live without

inspired by the thread in the muzik section - what are some of movies you watch over and over?

For me - pretty obvious I grew up in the 70s and 80s -
I've seen all of these movies over 20 times

Blues Brothers
Its a wonderful life
Raiders of the Lost Ark
First 3 Star Wars
Pink Panther Moves with Peter Sellers
The Jerk
Patton
Jaws
Shawshank redemption
Saving Private Ryan

Im sure I'll come up with a ton more but these are the first to come to mind....

lets hear yours.

Slapshot
Road House

I love the older Warner Bros. classic with Cagney and Bogart too. The later are my true favorites.

I love the movie Amelie, great flick. The first time my wife and I watched in on dvd, her water broke a few minutes after the movie was over. I actually thought about naming my daughter Amelie.
Im madly in love with Audrey Tautou

THE BIG LEBOWSKI- "Thats a bummer man"

UNFORGIVEN- "The Duck I says"

CADDY SHACK- "I like you Betty"
"Its Danny Sir"

Star Wars ep IV V VI- "DA deflectalllrrr SHIELD..............IS TOO STRONG"

Kill Bill Vol 1&2- "You can get a good view of my foot from there"

RESEVOIRE DOGS- "How would you feel, if every time you had to take a piss, you had to do a hand stand?"

HEAT- No quotes, just the best bank robbery scene in any movie ever made, which has been the gold standard of gun battles in hollywood films ever since. actually I lied. Al Pacino goes " WHAT DO WE GOT!?" a lot in that one, lol.

And consolation prize goes to Man on Fire. Denzel gets all kinds of homicidal and it suprises with violence almost everytime i watch it

Ditto to that.

As I'm looking at everyone else's lists, I 'm seeing more movies that I didn't think of. There are some real great "guy" flicks listed here.

Oh, and then there's Amelie.

Damn it i can't believe I forgot PREDATOR- "Stick around"

Who ever posted the predator musical, genius

p.s. the new Predators aint the worste action movie i ever seen.(watching it right now) Decent actors you'll recognize. better than pred 2 3 and whatever the hell predator/alien movies they came out with. AND one of the scenes actually references predator 1, but alas, doesnt hold a candle to the o.g. pred

AHH RONIN!!

god DeNiro plays the ultimate BAMF in that movie. love it. Sick car chases through the narrow streets of france with an audi S8. And I know why the specialist likes it. Cuz DeNiro rocks a 1911 .45 and I quote, "It served my country well."
