It's officially spring
On my way home from work today, I crossed my local river and there were about a dozen guys fishing one of the popular spring spots.
In the last 5 minutes, the peepers starting singing for the first time. Spring is friggin awesome.
No, no, no. we’re 30… 30, three zero.

Saw my first osprey yesterday,
No peepers yet, but the wood frogs are raising a ruckus in my vernal pool.
Saw a cormorant fly over too.

No peepers here, and there won't be for the rest of this week if the weather forecast holds up.

Despite a bit of snow this morning, spring is here. I saw an osprey, an eagle and a striped bass this weekend.

we get literally hundreds of these guys singing in the stream in our yard. It runs about 50' from our bedroom window. They should start w/ the next warm spell. Makes it hard to sleep, but it is pretty darn cool. The kids love it too.
