Thanks a bunch Big Dave, very much appreciated, very informative class and the hands-on was great too. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate. Tagger says the same thing ( he can't get online to post here at the moment).

Yes Dave, Thanks a bunch. I know today wasn't a good day with what is going on in your family, hang in there and keep positive.
Very nice of you to bear the bad weather at the waters edge with us all and help us refine our techniques and get better distance casting. Good to see Saltheart at the canal casting again, and all the others

As I floated home on the highway I was thinking, BDAVE made it look so easy to pop those reels apart[love the way you just dumped the parts in a heap, junk] an pop the new ones in. I wish I could do that, but I know if I tried you'd be getting them in the mail in a plastic bag with a note saying HELP....THANKS to all for a fun time, always to short..SBON, hoped the rod worked out for you...

BOAT fish do count.

Thanks Dave, I learned alot yesterday. I deffinately made some improvements in my casting. You make it look effortless, and with the right equipment it really was effotless. Now I am adding an Allstar 1208 conventional to the arsenal.

Thanks for having it at the shop Slip. By the way you left that Canal Special in the truck It will be there next time we hook up, I promise.

Hi Guys
I too had a great time. It was also great to make some new frineds as well. It is a bummer that the weather was not that great. I would have enjoyed being able to do more casting.

I am looking forward to the 2nd group as well.
Talk to you all soon Regards Big Dave

sounds like I missed a good day....i'm going to be persistent...keep me on a list and if anyone can't show give me a shout-out..

from the few times that I've spoken with dave IMHO he's forgotten more about reels and casting than i'll ever know...

Tightlines,

I'm pi$$ed ! Da wife just informed me that I have a "must attend" Holy Communion on Saturday May 3rd which I believe is the next clinic . . . I was on the list so it looks like the next name on the standby "moves up".

Did I mention I'm pi$$ed . . . "family functions" in May are supposed to be fishing related . .
