Proud Dad
Jake won Defensive player or the year for the 2011 season. This was his first year playing floor hockey, and he picked it up very well and scored 9 goals from the defensive position. He missed rookie of the year by one point. Great job to by little buddy!!
Will post pics soon...

Your raising one hell of a kid man.

I took him to his first Celtics game last night....had a blast. They came away with a win even though they didn't play their front five. We won the tix at the rissa show from the R I lottery. Two tix in sec 9...real good seats.

great job. Good for him. I was a fanatical street hockey player in my day. I ruined an autographed Bobby Orr stick playing street hockey. Wish I hadn't done that now.

no dad did but got it at a game, Bobby's 21st birthday, when he scored in last seconds to beat Chi Blackhawks. Still remember that game. The greatest ever IMO. Could have used him last nite. You should take him to the Beanpot if you have not yet. I used to go all the time and great for a young hockey fan and a great brand of hockey and won't break the bank.

I did the same exact thing when I was a kid, boy was my Dad mad at me when he found out.
But hey, there were no other sticks around and I wanted to play.

I just might do that Paul, sounds like a good idea.
And that was a great game, although I didn't see it first hand I have seen it replayed. Probably one of the most famous hockey pictures of all time.
