broke the ice

went to" flaptails spot " sat morn to find out if it was time yet.conditions were perfect and yes the fish were thereits been about 6mo for me .fish were sm maybe 20" but thats ok .water temp was 49# .i saw a few breaks.all fish were hooked on a sebaile ghost walker. ospreys were flying and fishing but no takes and the squid boats where out off craigville beach w/ a group of sm boats to .....its christmas in may ..the canal

i got a 15mile radius from the house. i cove fron hyannis to the cape cod canal,right now thats a good local .i'm getting a few bigger one's 18 to 22" wed afternoon on the sebile, water was 50*, no bait yet. squid boats dragging out front,n lots of sm boats out 2-3 miles hope 4 warmer weather 70to80s southwest winds my guess the canal has its first push of fish ????? next wk

Tons of bait along the back, silversides in tight and herring at the bars. Put my 1st of the year on the sand this after, a clean bright lean 16-17" scout - a day or two of warm weather and they'll be everywhere. Only two grey seals.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
