sight at canal this morning

something you don't see every morning. Escorted by Coast Guard thru the canal. Asked them where they were going and they said Maine, I said your nuts and they said yeah but we left Key West in March. Said they are from Little Compton. Wow.

I read about these guys back in Jan on Aquidneck.

Good for them, benefitting the Wounded Warrior project.

SUP the Coast - Our Mission

They also had the CG Aux ferry them through the canal, I guess that's the boat in the lead

That back guy ought to hurry up. It would suck to paddle from Key West to Maine and come in second.

Good for those guys

I see they made it from Onset to White Horse beach

I guess they have to pick their days on the water

That is a good charity to support

Getting the permit from the Coast Guard to paddle through the canal was “next to impossible,” said Mimi. “It was huge government red tape,” she said.

Nice at least they got the permit

Wow, those guys are insane. I saw this type of boating on the Charles once before. I wouldn't have paddled and stood on it through the canal.

Ya, they want to survive the trip not die from some nasty disease or bacteria from any of the 10,000 seals there they'd have to paddle by
