Yes and no... I've been asked this before, so let me explain;

The Cuttyhunk Forum is used to plan trips. Mostly things like who is bringing eggs, or energy drinks. How much does the ferry cost. Do I need korkers? There is no fall Cuttyhunk trip planned, so some wanted to see if there might be interest in a different destination, like Block Island, for a weekend trip this fall.

Bob was using the main board to get some guys' attention since they might not be signed in to the Cutty forum with no fall trip currently scheduled. Hence the "code"....

Again, the forum is not, nor ever was meant to be an exclusive group, and is used for planning purposes only. And we have always had first timers on every trip I have been involved in.

Keep an eye next spring and we'll post when extra spots are available

We tend to offer first dibs at people that have been over with us before and then open up if spaces are still available.

Except Clammer - parts of him have never left C

How about some of the boat guys running over when you guys go in the Spring? RIJimmy, Clammer and myself. 3, 20+' fishing machines.

We would have to sleep on the Island as none of the 3 have sleeping accomidations.

No boat, back in the suds.

I don't know if Clammer will ever come back since leaving most of his lower unit there.
