umbrella rig making question

Not sure if this is the right section but I was wondering if there is a mold to make your own umberella rigs, also a jig that would bend such heavy wire?? Thanks.

you mean a mold for the lead in the middle? I am sure you could come up with a way to do it and a jig to bend that heavy wire but I would think they are cheap enough to buy that it would not be worth the significant cost of a mold and bending jigs for doing all that work, unless you are talking selling them.

Pound a few nails in a board at specific locations then bend around them. Then make an X in another piece of wood with a hole in the middle. You can grab a chunk of lead in pliers and propane torch it while the dripping fill the hole. I've done similar making my own snag hooks.
Just have to deal with the whole burning wood and lead smell but down & dirty it worked just fine
