SOCO Fishing and Pics this morning...

The fishing was VERY slow but it was a beautiful dawn and perfect fall day... fished Watch Hill Point, West Beach, Central, and Quonnie/Fire District beach.... not even a tap.... I guess I should have been there on Wed night....

It's been real off and on down there. Big fish for a tide, then smaller fish for the next, then nothing for days. I was down midweek and a last minute (I was in the process of walking off the beach) bluefish mini blitz was all that kept the skunk off. Sure is a nice piece of coastline though.

My son and I fished same places. Picked up 5 schoolies and a harbor sized blue. Stripers were from 8 to 16 inches on a small school of anchovies at dawn this morning... Heard Falmouth was better.

Wed(early Thursday AM) night is when a 51 lb fish was caught at a well known point in RI on a 8" Pikie by Gary Soldati
