Bruins - Brad Marchand (the "New Rat")

Marchand - just gotta love his play and I enjoy watching him. Reminds me of Ken "The Rat" Linsman.

Marchand is the "New Rat" - he plays the same antagonistic game as Linsman but has more of a scoring touch - fans gotta start a new tradition of throwing toy rats on the ice when he scores.

I love watching him play with that nastiness. He's pretty dirty, but doesn't run away when he does it like Claud Lemeiux used to to. He's not afraid to mix it up with players much bigger than him, either. All that being said, the slew-foot to Niskanen last week was cheap and the type of thing that's gonna give him a bad reputation around the league. At least he admitted it was wrong and took the fine like a man.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

I agree with everything you said. he did drop his gloves right away after the slew-foot though, like he knew he had to take his punishment or something. He's been saying he doesn't want to be labeled a dirty player. I like his style of play too. the B's are awesome and I'm a die-hard basketball fan too. finally jumped on the bandwagon after last season

Gotta love the commercials he is in for a sports store, cuffing the customers and doing other rat-like stuff.

The fact that the guy can score is huge. Probably draws more penalties than he takes.

B's looking very good overall again and if they stay healthy it could happen again!
