Pats vs Broncos
OK we got a big break last night. Now we still have to play the game but I think it should be a cake walk (yes I know this is how a team gets in trouble). So if we can avoid spotting them 21 points in the first quarter , I figure it to be a blowout. I predict 35-17 with 7 of their 17 coming during garbage time.
Any opinions?
Assuming this Broncos game goes well , it looks like one tough game against Baltimore (yes I am assuming they will beat houston) and we are in the Superbowl. I think we got as good a road to the Superbowl as we could realistically hope for. Of course no matter what teams , we do have to ......WIN!!

Steelers looked pretty inept in that one.. but that was a severely depleted team.. my heart bleeds for them ...I called it early in the week.. my only question was if the broncos could score enough points ( my pun in post was if they had the horses..)
Pat's need to jump on them early... crush any hopes of a come back... i think that thin air helps his passing.. he's used to the timing up there... alas he had trouble against the Bills and Chiefs...for sure Tim T is a gamer.. that Defence is decent as well.. Pat's need to give them no hope...

Let's hope we don't spot them 21 points before Brady and the boys wake up. This could be a dangerous team. I would have loved to see a banged up Pittsburg instead of the Broncos but we play who we play and if the pats do what they do best we should take care of business.

Dear Bill if you win the toss please don't defer to the 2nd half. Go out put some points on the board with the first drive, create that momentum...

I'm thinking it will be closer than you think.
That pats secondary
We shoud still be able to pull a win out of it though.

Denver doesn't give up. We saw that yesterday. They just won't quit. We have to go for the throat and keep sawing away..

let's see we're facing a team in he playoffs that we easily beat in the regular schedule headed here........sounds eerily familiar. unless God is a broncos fan (read that tebow) we should smoke them.

I expect a street fight... The Bronkos believe in themselves... that alone makes them dangerous.. home field is huge.. if it was in Denver.. i think Denver would pull it off.. wouldn't surprise me if the Pat's win by only a field goal..this game is a tough call... emotions will play alot into it.. if the Pat's come out and match intensity... they can put the game out of reach before Denver knows what happened..but if they let them hang around and believe... I'm escared!
personaly I'd like to see them stomp them into dust...... if it's close it will be a long ride home for me.. the Mrs gets mighty miserable if they don't absolutly destroy the oppenents..

Lets seee....they burned us for 17 points before we woke up and then we outscored them 41 to 6 the rest of the game. I'm sure the players remember getting down so early in the last game. Yes the Broncos will be fired up do to this last win but the Pats will also be fired up since its their first playoff game.
I think I like being a Pats fan this Saturday night.
Jinxed them??? Its playoff time in professional football. Somehow I think the outcome will be determined by how they play , not some "jinx" but of course we can never be sure.

Teams with no defense don't often get to the big game and the Pats defense is probably the worst of any playoff team. This game might depend on turnovers. Supposed to be very cold - running games might come into play. I don't have a good feeling but hope I'm wrong.

lets hope your right.. the last 4 weeks they got into an ugly pattern of falling behind... my encoragement is that unlike the last few years.. they seem to be able to make adjustments to both the D and O.. we haven't seen that in them in some time... The stars are aligning nicely.. Go Huston!

Would definitely help if Flacco laid an egg this week.....that is assuming the Patriots take care of business. Bad memories of getting beaten by a sub par QB (Flacco) sticks in my craw. Baltimore's defense and RB are to be respected, but their QB I just can't stand him.

I just want them to be well prepared and not come out too tight or flat and not stumble. Give them the Gronkhernandez show and light it up.
I can't wait
I won't even feel the cold, I'll be too amped up.
Everyone will do their jobs, even the crowd
I bet everyone stands up the whole game like has been the case for the last 10 years

I was at the Monday Night Football Game last year when we beat the #^&#^&#^&#^& out of the JETS for 51 to 7 or something like that and I was also up on a step stool washing the writing off the window of the motorhome before I drove home from the playoff ass whoopin they put on us 8 weeks later...I remember shock and that sucked.
Nothing is sure with this team and their sudden out of the blue spasms of mediocrity
nothing is secure until they playxv

Patriots by more than 14 points ,
Brady and company will smoke the new "Orange Crush" I love Tebow but the Broncos are going to get stuck in the sand and spin the wheels and will not get out until a tow truck pulls them back to denver via the canal tunnel
