Dear Customers and Suppliers
The Batson Family and Employees of Batson Enterprises, Inc. sadly announce the passing of Bob Batson. Bob died suddenly on Sunday May 11, 2003 of a heart attack. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2003, 2 p.m. at the Vineyard Church, 3415 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles, WA 98382.
As most of you well know, Bob had strong walk with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His fervent wish was that all who he did business with would also develop a relationship with his savior. Bob didn’t believe in hiding God’s presence in his life. He shared with so many of his customers and vendors what God had done in his life.
Each of us feels the loss of his presence both on a personal basis and for his leadership of our business, Batson Enterprises, Inc. In the near future we intend to share with the rod-building family our view of Bob’s contributions to this industry and share with you the plans he put in place to turn over control of the operation to his family, when he retired.
In the meantime, rest assured that the “BOB BATSON” way of doing things is alive and well at Batson Enterprises, Inc.. We intend to continue to provide the finest rod blanks and components for our customers at a fair price with outstanding service and a large inventory. We will continue to work with our long time suppliers to obtain the highest quality components and raw materials at a fair price. We will continue to treat every customer and supplier with the respect they deserve and with “Honesty and God’s way of doing things” that Bob is known for in the industry.
To our competitors, we say, “NOTHING HAS CHANGED”. We will continue to be a leader in this industry with our experienced and expert staff. We remain today more committed than ever to “Bob Batson’s Way of doing business.” Please feel free to call any of the following if you have questions or concerns caused by Bob’s passing.
