				Source for Cedar planks?

Anyone out there know a good source for reasonably priced cedar planks? Looking to make a raised planter so rough cut would be fine. It might be the same price everywhere but for what I am dong seconds and or blemishes would be more than fine. I could change design based on what was available - right now I know they come in 2x6 or was looking at changing design to 1x6 or 1x8s and just add more support. |

Northeast Millworks here in Tiverton might also be a place to give a call. |

				 | Thanks for all the suggestions guys, ended up with sorting through a pile of "pecky" cedar and found some great 2x12's for 1.99 a foot, topped it with some 1x4 cedar and found a almost straight 4x4 on deep discount for corner support. Git it all in Harwich at a place called StoneWood. Neat place some good clearance pricing. Now to fill it and start planting! |

				 | North East Millwork (Peter Core) in Tiverton has a ton of lumber but.....VERY expensive. It may be a scrap piece but if you're interested.....he's going to charge you dearly. |

				 | well here it is, a few designs changes later, and about $50 worth of cedar I am pretty happy with the results. Corner posts have 12" of 4x4 underground The pipes to are not fastened in yet so the spacing is off, but wanted to see how it would lay out. Thats a new twist to lock in some thin pvc pipe frame for a bird net and or maybe even a plastic cover for early plating. |
