For that price I could get a reconditioned ABU 6500 , pour pepper corns inside the endplate and let the main gear grind in up for me!
They are nice though!

Assuming they have a decent grinder that's not expensive.
Hell, I have a single pepper mill that cost more than the pair
For the boat crowd anyway. The market is small enough that if they were cheap they would really suck.

I make a bunch of grinders every holiday season for a charity fundraiser at our church... here is one of my favs that I made last year... these go for $40 ...
