Bass Hole

Did pretty well at Bass Hole this weekend. I had to drive like a maniac to make the Harwich run. I ended up netting 8. Dropped the girlfriend off and headed off to Chapin @ 10:30. I drove out there to find not another living sole (that walks on two legs). It was just me, my jeep, the beach, and best of all the fish. The tide was high, the herring were alive, and the Bass were hungry. I got 6 fish between 26' and 30' in about a half hour. The rest of the weekend I spent checking the herring run (which was spotty, and when they were there you had to fight for them like Tyson) I caught numerous schoolies and just shorts with sand eels. My brother met me out there on Sunday and I think the Rickman got skunked, but I am not sure because I left him around 4:00 and he seemed like he was just attempting to get serious, seriously drunk.

Damn that's good! Those 26 foot blue whale's always spool me unless I'm chunking with standup tuna gear! It ususally takes a day to bring it in too. My biggest problem has been trying to get Krill to stay on the hook though

John, don't tell anybody but I really am just a counselor. Not some famous rap star. So you could probably win the battle. Are we strizzy my nizzy? I hope so.

How often do you guys fish the ditch?

I can't believe you're pulling 60 herring in one dip. That sounds like a TRUE fishing story, if I've ever heard one. No, but the herring are done around these parts. I mean, they were STACKED in numerous locations, and now you'll be lucky to pick up half a dozen. It sucks and I'm pissed. But oh well, there's more than one way to skin a cat.

And there's absolutely nothing like drinking a forty of private stock at the ditch with two chunks floating around!!! Life is good!!!

Why the lone face there, TheSpecialist???

And BM, what do you mean, "on My googan pier with Slip"? Is this code for something? If so, much respect. If not, help me out here?

And BM, do you need a hand at getting rid of those live herring???

If so, I've got a couple rods and reels that are waiting for a REAL keeper...

And I have no shame in lugging buckets...(I do it in my sleep)...
