Relay for life tonight. Working tomorrow but will sneak out for Jakes playoff game. Hitting the Ditch Sunday and then maybe some yard work.
Enjoy everyone!

Starting a short 5 day vacation. Headed down to Atlantic City for Metallica's Orion Music Festival \m/. Might try to fish while I'm down there or hit the casino .

In-laws 65th Wedding Anniversary party

Its at our house. Did over kitchen and dining room in the last two months. Did a chitload of work outside. Scraped and painted deck. The yard always looks nice if I do say so myself. Helping wife prep food today. Thats why I have only been fishing once in the last three weeks.

And for two weeks before that I was nursing either a bruise kidney from a fall at the ditch or I passed some stones that tore me up. Switched doc's and the new one is putting me through the paces. Busy July coming up with appt's.

Going to be good to open the windows tonight and let in the cool air.

I have a million little things to do around the house. Lots of shopping runs that got put off to avoid the 90+ heat too.

Two day Bike-a-Thon for multiple sclerosis. 100 miles tomorrow, 75 on Sunday.

Us also Jack. 44 years of wedded bliss

I actually enjoy being married now more than ever before.

Grill and party this afternoon. If I feel OK, boat tomorrow. If not, I'll keep working on the stone wall I'm building.

No boat, back in the suds.

Finishing up getting my truck back together, Had to yank the motor to replace freeze plugs. Took care of a few other problems while it was all apart, it will be nice to have it on the road again..

Had a good weekend but,Friday I took my nephew (Hooklineandsinker) to the canal to try and put him on to fish before he get's deployed to Paris Island Monday morning......Well with great intentions it just didn't pan out the way I had it in my head.

I let him use my last Sebiele,if there's fish around he'll hook up,well after an hour it snapped off on mid cast, then a Yo-zuri pencil well what can ya do but just go with it and things should level out, right?
Wrong my son proceeds to pick up the slack and get the worlds worst birds nest which occupied more than half his spool then when things are looking pretty bad I get a phone call that location X is giving up fish, alright great we can turn this chit show around!
I tell the kids alright were oughta here pack up the bike, well I put my first rod in the bike rod holder turn around to get my Nephew's plug bag I then turn back around and watch my bike fall over!!!!Nooooooooooooo,I swear it was in slow motion My plug bag dumps out all over the ground and 2 eye's on my pole are shatered! What the! who the!
So I turn to the kids and say ok were done.

Anyway's I took the kids to the campground met up with my wife and daughter. My wife looks at me and asked "so how was fishing"I smiled looked at the kids and said who's hungry? So I made a killer breakfast and all was good.

Live bait sharp hooks and timing is all you need
