Surf fishing vacation

I am wanting to plan a vacation and would like to fish from the surf somewhere nice. From the information I have been able to gather (limited) , it seems like Mexico or Costa Rica would be the best bets to fufill the requirements I am looking for, and having good surf fishing.
Does anyone have any expereince going to either place? Pros and cons? Which would be a better choice and why?

Contact Mike Laptew regarding Costa Rica, he knows the place pretty good.

What do you want to go for? For me surfcasting for Roosters is at the top of the list

that's what I was thinking. I am still considering other ideas, but that seems like my best bet.

Roosters in Cabo! Not sure of the season but it's supposed to be an insane battle.

not really surfcasting as we think of it, but belize would be high on my list.
