someone posted this link on the edge forum and thought id repost it here, as its a pretty cool story, goes into great detail.

73 pounds in 1913

amazing that fish this big were landed on the gear they had back then.

I like the part at the end stating the finest hooks were made in Limerick Ireland - it's in my blood
