Need a beer to go with beef stew
I only drink coors light. But for some reason want to pair a beer with some homemade beef stew that will be done in an hour or so. Any suggestions

Guinness or any other stout!

Smuttynose old brown dog is a great match. A decent beer store can recommend something. Since you are a coors light drinker, a decent lager would also be a safe choice

I'd second the brown ale over the stout.

I use to only drink miller lite ever since it came on the market, but after reading what a lot of guys here have had to say I hvae tried with limitations many, many beers. Thanks to TDF for his wheat type beer advice to start me off. White's UFO, is that right, was my first one, and off I go. I do swallow a Zantac though before I have a couple.
Next brewery beer is going to be from Nantucket. My iece was drinking one over Xmas, and she said its her favorite.

Thanks guys. The stout was great with the stew. But I wouldn't drink it without the meal. I will buy it again next time she makes the stew and probably have her add some to the stew
