Fish someplace. Gonna cook a steak for the first time in 3 weeks. I've been doing this NutiSystem for 3 weeks and while it works, I hate the F&^%$#*ing food.

Nice, Mike.
Having a fire lake-side tonight with the girl and some friends then hoping to target some stripers at some point this weekend. If all else fails, I'll be taking the yak out for LM both days...

Tooling around in the new whip. 80's party (go figure) Saturday night. Fishing the Deerfield on Sunday.
Might try and see if I can track down some schoolies as well, if the tides align.

Heading to PT to have my shoulder agonizingly stretched to its limits after surgery, Opening Day for baseball and softball for the twins Sat. am with games to follow. Take them to the lake for their newfound obsession after a couple LM bass changed their lives. Spend Sun. with the wife on the deck, with a couple of cold beverages and enjoy some rays... and probably more fishin'!!

Big weekend
Heading out tonight with my son to Lake Fork, one of the best bass lakes in the country producing most of Texas' record fish. Staying at a hotel and getting up in the am and hitting the water and fishing all day. Bass are on the beds and some post spawn.
Sunday - we have tix for Wicked in Dallas. Should be cool with the kids,

LOL. It works, the food stinks, and it's expensive. Want a treat, cook that steak outside over charcoal. Last year I got rid of my gas grill, no comparison in taste.
Coaching my baseball team of 6-8 year-olds. Looking for schoolies with my 6 year-old son and the puppy. Taking delivery of a new camping trailer. Making a few reservations for said trailer at Fishermans Memorial in Narragansett. Finishing a wood-fired, brick pizza oven in my backyard. It's not nutrisystem-compliant...lots of other yard work, spreading 7 yards of mulch, etc...

What's 'Wicked'? Sounds like something that should be up here in Mass, not down there in tobacky-land.
Let us know how you do on Lake Fork...

Going out to the Bomba compound tomorrow. Maybe put the VHF in the boat and wire up my truck for the winch.
Going to try to see Mikey tomorrow, as well.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

That there is called a "cowboy steak", and man is it good.
Take the steak, rub it with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with salt & pepper (or Weber or McCormick seasonings). Let it sit at room temp for 20 minutes before grilling (equates temp between inside and outside of steak, so that you can cook the middle to desired doneness without burning the outside).
Cook outside over natural lump charcoal (which is nothing but pre-burnt wood), not briquettes which have artificial fillers. And never light the wood or charcoal with lighter fluid.
My favorite non-seafood meal. Best with corn-on-the-cob, also cooked over wood or charcoal, and of course an ide cold beer. Me thinks that's what I'm having tonight...
