Basketball tourneys all weekend, but I've got some brined up clams I want to dunk in a local river or bay. Nice tides this weekend.

Gonna try for shad at Holyoke dam. Caught my first one last year,
hope to do better this year. Supposedly some stripers there too
(sluggos, per OTW article?), but never seen or caught any there.

Try fishing for stripers at night through first light. I would find spots where the current picks up. Unweighted sluggos work, but I tend to throw crystal minnow magnums, bombers and mambos. There is no water coming over the dam, so I would stick to fishing the Holyoke side for shad once it gets light (the turbines under the fish lift will create current to work your darts). Remember the derby is finishing up this weekend, so be ready for lots of company. Hope this helped. PM me if you want more info.

not getr rear-ended or front-ended or any type of auto-related contact.

Might try and hit a local pond for some early morning kayaking, and end the day at Duxbury with my godson and his friend.
(My godson is a college freshman)

Sunday might involve some early gardening and some evening kayaking.
Kayaking in the evening is so rewarding with possible big fish and local wildlife in the same outing.

I am a legend in my own mind!

Working tonight, hope to be picking up a new (new to me) outboard motor tomorrow. A birthday bash for a good friend tomorrow night. Fishing Sunday morning, yard work, meeting up with Slipknot, and hockey practice with the boy. Sunday night I am hitting the water again.

Went out to the Bomba compound yesterday, saw Dad Bomba, Rappin Mikey and my niece. It was nice. We got almost everything done on the Lastcast2. She should be ready to trailer down to the Cape next weekend.

Did some honey do stuff (flipped car seat around, cleaning out cellar). Between Jess' and my weight losses, we're getting rid of lots of fat clothes.

Today, go out for the dinner we had to cancel last week due to Jack being sick (sorry Jess), and then stop by Scott Kershaw's in Gloucester to say hi on the way back to Waltham.

Maybe wash the car today, too.
