S Winds

Are these winds going to let up? We get lucky once a week when it lays down in the a.m, but this has been 3 1/2 weeks of straight S at 20. I need some fair weather fishing in my life.

Haven't been in Buzz Bay in a month, luckily I can do Boston Harbor and CCB!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Yeah I looked at the forecast for this past weekend and ended up golfing both days, I don't have the back to go pounding around anymore. I can't believe it's July and I have been out twice, there are times this year I've given serious thoughts to selling while the boat is in really good shape. Looks like the pattern might break just in time for my vacation starting on the 4th, I'm hoping next week brings flat calm am's and light sw coming up around mid-day.

no doubt. it is getting stupid. yesterday i was talking about maybe selling the boat or trading for a backhoe or something I would actually use.

I had such a skunking in the mid/upper bay a week or so ago that I had written it off, but maybe it is time to reconsider as that is my only option 'cause block and the other points of interest out front have been a no-go...

i bent my wookie

not crapola down here. i've turned around twice.
And days where i don't go I still go down to the beach, and have been happy to not have gone. Between wind/fog/seas it has been a tough 7-8 day stretch.

Got completely soaked and hog-tied last time out in the dory. Wanting to waste old fuel, I didn't fill up the tank.

Rough waters + Rocking & Rolling + a tank going empty =

I was starting to think that the motor was acting up before I realized the tank was just too low allowing just enough air in to stall me out... X 2

13 feet feels really small some days......I think Chief Brody said it best....

Gotta suck too, with the new boat and all....
Hopefully on the 4th, the crowds fear the worse and stay home so as not to crowd the ramp. I'm sneaking out there somewhere> regardless >

Been running every morning and crushing "LARGE". Yesterday had everything you could want. Wind, rain, fog, 3 foot seas and big fish on every drift. Oh yeah, and great company with TO on board. I can take the beating just as long as the fishing stay outstanding.

No boat, back in the suds.

We has a epic day day on wed out front. Big top water bass. Then can't leave the dock for 4 days. I don't fish the bay much. To be honest when I get north of prudence I'm a blind mouse. My stomping ground is out front. And it was 4-6 yesterday.

Back to the bay, then, I guess. I agree BB, things were great out front until it got gnarley. I just thought the bay was slowing down and shifted efforts... guess not!
one of the very few benefits of being on a trailer, i guess...

Doing the same for 23 days straight (except for 2 days I traveled for work). Got beat to @+*^# yesterday and especially today. Out going with a 20 knot S wind make for a short steep chop.

No boat, back in the suds.
