Barry and Kerry have lost the mojo for the mayhem.
Doesn't it seem that Americans are getting sick of trying to straighten out everyone elses problems. Regardless of what Obama does the same situation/s will exist after any bombing by us occurs, rendering anything Obama tried to accomplish moot.

The decision has to be made immediately...not 2 1/2 weeks after the fact so the regime has plenty of time to shift their stockpiles knowing a strike is sure to come!!! I for one am tired of coming to everyones aid (middle east) and having them spit in our eye!!!! Let them carve each other up just as they have been doing for centuries??? I do find the use of chemical weapons horrific especially after seeing the effects it has on human beings.....just horrible! Obama needed to take swift and decisive action and he has failed to do so...the window has closed....we look weak and indecisive......a chink in the armour!

No no no. You got it the other way around. Obama is hoping that with us bombing Syria, that the debt limit issue will go away. And Obama care issues and immigration reform, etc...
These people really disgust me... On both sides.

there is no so-called "fiscal cliff"...Spence told me so
and there most certainly is no discernible "debt ceiling"...
but for some reason the fiscal cliff keeps getting higher and steeper and we're told debt ceiling needs to be increased and not to worry about it....
but hey, the unemployment just dropped to it's lowest level in the age of O , HORRAY!!!... never mind that it did so on the backs of another 300,000 Americans who gave up looking for work....
strange times....

The debt ceiling fight is silly. It's not a vote to spend more money...but rather pay for what we've already spent.
Threats by the GOP to deny lifting it are hollow, it has to go up or we default which would do far more damage to the economy. Instead the GOP should embrace it and work constructively towards long-term structural savings rather than make beltway theater.

Swimmer, I agree and so do the majority of the American people who have had
a chance to really think this out. There is nothing to gain at this time, except to
save face for the "red line" remark, and that is no reason to put ourselves and
treasure in harms way. No one can predict the end game.

"Threats by the GOP to deny lifting it (the debt ceiling) are hollow"
Spence, what did you think when then-Senator Barack Obama said it was "unpatriotic" for Bush to continue to ask that the ceiloing be lifted? Just curious...
"it has to go up or we default which would do far more damage to the economy"
I agree it has to go up to pay for what we have already spent. But doesn't the spending need to be addressed? Especially when the spending is (1) at record levels, and (2) not improving the economy?
