Me too John! Habs was a great guy...gone too soon!

Fish, fish and more fish! Its time to hit it hard and go out in a blaze of glory or burn out trying! I love the Fall! Might have to have a fire in the yard one evening and a few beers!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Striper fishing Saturday, cod fishing Sunday. Football Sunday night. Have a number of bids to go see too. But not the priority on weekends in the fall. I just meet with the clients in the afternoon. They don't get it. I don't care. Could work all weekend, but not happening. Still pissed I had to cancel my Derby trip to keep up with the work on my plate. Currently have at least two months worth to get to. People are still slow to pay...... Hit the beaches this evening too. Better half gets home from her week on the road in a couple hours, but she knows what to expect... and is already asking what I need to have packed for food so she can pick it up on the way back from her office in Conn. How's that for being spoiled rotten. Also have my brother's lab with me for another week. She's off her food and talking a lot, so have to keep my eye on her tonight.

Catch my breath tonight, Cape tomorrow AM. Start getting ready for the family annual fishing weekend Columbus Day. Few chores and a little football.

Lots of errands and on call this weekend.

Gonna try to drown some macs tomorrow with Scott Kershaw in the Bernie in Gloucester.

That is if we can find them. Broke out the Keep Alive aerator cooler that I built and won when I first joined the board in 2000. I was out of work with knee surgery and kept writing jingles for Keep Alive until they sent me a free pump. It still works like a charm. I put it in the basement after they put the moratorium on river herring and forgot about it.

Hopefully we find some bait to put in it.

Pats tomorrow night if I can stay up.

Later,
Rick

Gonna fish the hahbah out by Deer Island. Haven't caught squat the
whole year, hope to catch up a little. I'll be in a yellow two man, so
don't run me over as you roar out to the further islands!

Starting to get ready for the Vineyard. Two weeks of hitting it hard everyday, all day. Buying food, for the house, some of it anyways. Gear is all set, waiting on another NJ Tackle order to finish some plugs for the vineyard. Pack a lot of stuff into the Tacoma.

Hope so, Ross. Hopefully I'm done working for the night and can go to bed.

Need to put in an hour before going out tomorrow, as well.

Couldn't buy a live bait today. A whole nice day of nothing!
