Book our spot for next year (at this year's event), to avoid having to take whatever is left.

I understand your quandary, John, but I have to agree with Greg on this one. TFCTFN and Plugfest should be getting dates set and facilities booked a year in advance. All the other annual events operate this way, and it gives you a year to plan around. This event used to be in January if I recall correctly. (Of course there have been years that the after party activities would have precluded anyone taking that booking......) And as I have mentioned before, we might consider trying to move this event up to begin earlier in the afternoon....

The benefit of having the event later is that there will be no snow cancellation and losing the deposit. This also effects and upsets the VFW because they lose the balance of the hall cost.
It is all good don't be so miserable and give JohnR ideas for entertainment.

Ok, so it's set. let's get the food donations started before that goes by the boards.

I'm in for my usual: 3 cheese cakes, 2 cases of water and 3 dozen rolls.

No boat, back in the suds.

Just want to make sure we're still on for 4/5.

I'm going to book a room for Shawno and I for that night at the Seaport Inn that night.

Just want to make sure we're still on. I've been living under a rock with this house thing.

Thanks,
Rick

Ricky, I'll be there with my nephew Chris (Team Sanchez).
Let me know if 3 dozen dinner rolls is too much. Seems like we always have a lot left over. I have my baker bake them fresh that afternoon.

I got the 3 cheese cakes and a case of water also.

No boat, back in the suds.

we need a good turnout this year, last year was a small crowd. so all you slackers get off your asses and come to this. it's a fun time and how johnr pays the bills around here. think of all the crap you've learned here - time to pay it back a bit. plus the raffle is the best around

I'll be there

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
