Congrats to Slipnot

For breaking the 40 lb mark tonight, what a beautiful fish, wish I'd had a camera with me. You fish hard Bruce and you deserve it, you fish hog. Figures, I'm late moving with him and get to the spot he's headed and 2nd cast he's on this fish.

Saltheart nailed 2 nice fish tonight as well, a 17 and 24 lber I think. I had one maybe 26 inches and dropped one that felt good. Too bad Bruce wasn't in for the MSBA tourney, that would have been a good shore fish, I was hoping for one tonight for myself. Oh well tomorrow night I'm doing the easy boat fishing , well I hope it is anyway.

It's late but I'm all wound up. Nice fishing with the boys tonight, next time it's Smokies and my turn right?

i guess the beach bum still knows how to jig...

heck of a weight for a 45 inch fish...thats how they should all be...

i knew one of us would yank a 40 out of that rip sooner or later...

There's a reason for the shorts, too---along with doing some jigging, slip was booked to give some swimming lessons
