Brunswick Maine

heading to Orrs Bailey island this thursday. it is in the Brunswick area of maine. does anyone know anything about the fishing there now. i plan on trying Popham beach, but was wondering if it would be worth while fishing right were we are staying. the campground is right on trhe water ,Harpswell sound. any info would be appreaciated

Popham would be a good bet as most of the herring from the upper river are headed down that way with many Big stripers following. I've heard reports of alot of good fish being boated in the lower river in the last couple of weeks.
