Today at the boat yard.
Today at Tripps boat yard on the left side of the dock i looked down and i saw 6 dead bass about 40-45 inches each. i was amazed. the bones were there crabs all over them. little silver sides were swimming around them too.. what could of caused the death of these humungous fish?

Somebody on one of the boats probably caught them and dumped them. Why? I guess tghere are a number of possibilities. One is people often keep fish then decide that they can't be bothered cleaning them and dump them. Another is that they catch over a legal limit figuring no one will be at the dock when they return and have to dump them cause someone is there to see it.
Anyway , that's my guess.

Were the carcasses tied up, or were the free floating? If they were tied up, they might have been legal limits that were caught on a boat near the tie point. At least that's what I'm hoping.

They aren't allowed to use knifes at the boat yard except when they really need too... but it is possible they were just cut up... but it was just the bones and the head and tail no other meat. This was in westport in tripps boat yard.

So what is the big deal?
Some one wasted some fantastic Lobster Bait!
A fish comes from the sea and is harvested by man as God intended. Man fillets fish and returns what is left back to the sea from which it came!
So what is the big deal?
