New England Brewing Sea Hag
Dollar for dollar this might be the best canned craft brewed IPA available... I'm a little biased given my geographical location, but its got the nose, the taste, the mouthfeel, the lingering "staying power" after a sip or two... It has almost entirely become my go-to beer at the local stores.
Typically $9.99 but I've found somewhere at $8.99 and it really is spectacular.

Local scene is starting to get interesting. They need to start shipping some of their Ghandi Bot to the area more consistently. On tap at Max B a few weeks back. Very good. Let me know if you are up for a road trip for growlers.

Sounds like they have good "coverage" with Ghandi Bot down that end of CT, New Haven and Fairfield and points west. Shouldn't be too long a drive from LI. Or the ferry across. Maybe we need to do a get together in Woodbury?

I agree, of the more readily available craft IPAs this is the one. Stone IPA is my second choice, then Nebraska brewing co IPA.

My local store gets this sometimes but you'll never see it on the shelf. You have to know the special wink. One of my favorites.

I suppose I should be asking for location and details on said special winky via PM.
Got some Hag over the weekend and enjoyed it. Reminds me of Union Jack (if memory serves) but a bit more citrus I think. Might be interesting to do a head to head with Hag v Bot at the brewery some day. Well worth the $$ for sure. Thanks Ian.
And now to find that there Nebraska stuff.
