West Yarmouth recommendations

Heading down for a wedding next weekend. Wife's in the wedding so I have Saturday morning and early afternoon to myself. Thinking of fishing early am. Not that familiar with the area so if anyone wants to point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Not looking for any big secrets, just a spot to hit at dawn for blues or something. May drive up to well fleet but something closer would be nice.

Also appreciate suggestion for breakfast or lunch and few beers.

Thanks for any suggestions. I can try to return favor if you find yourself on north shore.

Josh

Lunch

I eat from shore more than fish (boat guy) but I would think close to yarmouth, , West Dennis beach would be good for blues.

Little travel go sandy neck on north side,, night bite mostly

Have fun

Keltic Kitchen is Excellent! Be sure to get the homefries...
Red Cottage on Old Bass River rd in Dennis has bacon that you have to try. Its a house secret, the owner cures it in maple sugar or something its ridiculously good, but parking there gets a little tough during busy hours. My other go to spot for breakfast is Picadilli Cafe on 28 in South Yarmouth, they have like 10 different benny combos...

For afternoon/sunset beers, just past bass river on the left, is the Summer Shanty. Beautiful view of the marina and River and they have seating in the grass, bring the bug spray. Probably my favorite spot to drink beers. Its kinda hard to locate, behind sundancers basically in the marina.

PM'n fishing stuff

something clever and related to fishing

Jump back on 6 and take the 20 minute ride to the canal. Sometimes there are fish in that little inlet by cpt. Parkers this time of year though.

that's kind of what i'm leaning towards. not my favorite place to fish and the tides don't lineup that well with when i'll be able to get out, but its easy access and will give me something to do in the morning. at lease i won't be driving around and worried about access and parking.

Josh you have a decent turn of the canal to the east at 7:04 am on Sat morning the 13th. You have a decent high tide at Sandy Neck at 2:51 am also. There is no problem parking at main lot at Sandy Neck for that and walking the beach it could be a good tide that time of year. Also you could fish Craigville Beach and maybe get into some Albie's from shore as they should be in there good by then but not a sure thing from shore though and you don't have to be there too early for that.

Thanks guys. Tried for albies but only found small blues. Heard a lot of "should have been hear yesterday". Was going to try again this morning but open bar did me in.
