Marlboro show, I usualy drope a few buck BUT this year is was hard to do that a NOTHING great to be had no good sales at all, BUT I did manage to find a couple of wood fly boxes at a great price, so thay came home with me. I know they are NOT for streamers, it just for show. GOOD LUCK GOOD TYIN

Those boxes are pretty nice. Like you, I was not real impressed. It seems that the show shrinks every year in terms of vendors.

COST of this show for venders is what is keeping them away. if you notice there were MORE display tiers this year BUT that still did not help.
also the QUALITY of product like FEATHERS has gone DOWN HILL FAST. NO one cares any more. everyone is PRICING them self out of business.
the future of this show is in the cards. GOOD LUCK GOOD TYIN

My favorite show by far just for access to folks and low "pressure" on Friday. Unfortunately my company has the annual meeting elsewhere on that same weekend now. I have not been in four years, and it sounds like the clock is ticking. Every year reports sound worse and worse. Shame to see it go. Sounds like Bear's Den will be taking its place.

I see the same thing at Somerset. Fly fishing is now trending way down. It's not good business to go to a show, have to pay $$$ for a space, and then sell discounted merch.
