IS Apple going to compete with Go Pro

Apple may be going after the same market as GoPro. Being an Apple kind of a guy I find this exciting.

Old story. Crushed the stock price of GPRO, but it is recovering ahead of earnings and end of another lock up. But the patent Apple got from Eastman Kodak looks like 1980s technology... not the knock out, leading edgy stuff it was made out to be. The Polaroid product is more of a near term threat, though it doesn't have all the capabilities. It is just simple, small, and cheap. What Apple does have in its corner is that when something worthy of videoing comes up, many have forgotten to bring the gopro, so they just whip out their Iphone, so much content get loaded there. And content is the future battleground.

GPRO did announce a new deal with the NHL and it is using it during this AllStar weekend. Also in use with live apps at X Games this weekend.

Bottom line is when the kids want an action video camera, the word they use is GoPro. The name is synonymous with the product. Someone with deep pockets will have to buy them out to dominate the market....

Never count Apple out of any market, remember when Erickson and Nokia had the latest in cell phones?

Steve jobs and his forward thinking vision made apple what it is... Not the other way around. When steve jobs passed away, apple had a few of his ideas already in play to continue with... Niw they are slowly on their own.
You really think the i-phone 6 would bend if steve jobs were alive????

Like anything else its released in due time. Its sickening the technology they have and dont release because of the money they are still s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g off people. Same principle applied to fuel efficient vehicles, do a little digging and see what other countries have and you will hate things more.

Other countries dont have all you can eat buffets, or have stores
that allow you to buy something, use it, and return it without a receipt
because you "changed your mind"

America... where everyone is trying to get in, and no one is trying to get out

I heard it was only going to be twice the price of GoPro too.....only drawback is it will only attach to the iYak or the iHelmet.
