first pikies with System Three
Here are a few I did with System Three clear coat . The finish is harder than envirotex and also harder to work with. (it is thinner and drags off with the brush).

Do you have to spin the system 3?

I just flip them like I did with the envirotex. It is harder to get a good coating though because it is alot thinner so it drags off easier. I think the pot life is better though.

I have not used the envirotex, but do use the Systems Three clear coat. Pot life is pretty good. I can get 12 plugs coated easily in one sitting. I spin mine after coating. Helps with the self leveling. The times that I have had problems with it are when I try to use it in warmer weather (starts to set up before I am done) or if I have not mixed it well enough. Any more, I'll mix a batch, get plugs lined up, mix again, add glitter, mix again, then start applying it. Mix between plugs too.

I like the stuff except for the way it drags and tends to leave bare spots. I am going to try the mirror coat on the next run of plugs. It is a self leveling bartop epoxy. Hopefully it is similiar to envirotex as far as application goes.

It sets in about 4 or 5 hrs. has a pot lifew of 2 hrs and takes a day before ya should touch it. Next week I'll let ya know how the mirror coat works out. I am hoping it has the hardness of clear coat and the ease of application of envirotex.
