I've the foran lock wrap w/success on surf rods using single foot guides. Check it yourself after wrapping one guide. Give it a pull. The lock wrap around the guide stem will hold. The epoxy once applied will form a ramp under the foot transition to guide stem to blank. Kind of a gussett to also aid in locking guide to blank. Hope this helps. On the KT Fuji single foot running guides, they have a wide foot with plenty of area to hole the guide to blank and a lock wrap isn't necessary but I do ramp the epoxy to assure myself it's going nowhere.

Yes, that's the one. Some good close ups on one site. I'll give that a go, thanks Billy
