Interesting. That's a big change for Maine.

I fish for stripers in Maine for 20 years. Last year was my worst ever. I'm all for anything that will help.

I have been going up to Booth Bay for 10 years.

The fishing was good till 5 years ago.

Still plenty of Macks but no Stripers.

Not sure if something environmentally is going on or over fishing but something needed to be done.

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it - Irish Blessing

Yeah, was thinking of sneaking up there to go for a slot fish, but if they want to be like the other states, so be it. Something has to be done, so I'm glad they're doing their part; fish caught up there don't migrate past everyone else.
