off shore reel spooling advice

I have a new pen Squall SQL30VSW and an Okuma Titus 50 wide

Should I go Braid then Mono top shot or straight Mono

and what LB line for each reel I am thinking 50lb for the 30 and 80 for the 50 wide reel .. dont want to be overkill but I also what to keep my chances of landing a fish High . seeing these wont be everyday trips
for Sharking and Tuna trolling

Great choice! The price point for jb braids is better at 130# and the larger diameter helps to fill the spool with less yards makes this a bargain, add quality 2nd to none in my opinion and it is perfect package.

Perhaps the 80# jb with 60# for the 30
I use that on both my saltiga 6500 and vs300 extra spools for when I am fishing heavy. For the most part I use the 60# jb for the ditch and use the 80# when there's a crowd with large fish so I can get the fish in quicker and if I can't due to size I feel the 80 gives me a better chance if crossed.
