Well, now, the weather doesn't look like it will be terribly conducive for weekend picnicking now, does it?

I have to go to my mother in-lwas B-Day party (the old battle ax) on Sat.
I just bought a new fish finder and have to install that before Mon. So I might do it at least in part today and finish on Sun.

Just bought new 10' Star and Stratic 8000, so I'm fishing.
It's been so slow from shore that at least I'll have some fun with the new set-up.
Oh yeah, in the Heritage days tourney this weekend.

Was going to work on the boat, but just got out of the emergency room with a 104 degree fever that hit me like a freight train after I got home from the trip yesterday.
I was pretty scared, turned out to be just a bad virus.
Anyhow, now to bed...4 hours in the hospital took a lot out of me.
Good Luck Everybody,
Rick

Went to the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset last night to see Robert Cray as I am a huge Blues fan. Anyway, I know alot about blues but not everything. I know quite alot about the kind of blues I generally listen to, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, you get the point. So the opening act for Robert Cray was John Hiatt and his new band The Goners. I know who John Hiatt is and I also knew that he is one of the greatest songwriters in history but I really had never listened to much of his music. So John Hiatt comes on and they were just %&$#@* awesome. Straight ahead rock and blues with lots of fantastic slide guitar, I was amazed. I now am a huge John Hiatt fan and am going out today to pick up a few CD's. His band set the place on fire and then Robert Cray came out and could barely fan the flames. I have seen Robert Cray about six times and he is always a good show but never a great show. He does not travel with a horn section which is a huge mistake considering his music is full of horns, and he always lacks any emotion when he is playing. Very matter of fact even though his solos are incredible. See John Hiatt if you ever get a chance, he had the crowd going nuts. Later.

Yeah Van, in my younger days (before Children) BC, I used to frequent all the great live music spots, The Beachcomber/Nostalgia, Seanote, Yardrock. I do love my blues. Clamdigger, John Hiatt has 39 albums? If that is true I got alot of homework to do, Thanks.
