Another water heater tank dies....

Ours bit the big one on Sunday morning.
My complaint was that my two basement dwelling brothers knew it was failing but only mentioned it in passing like "the water heater is got a leak" as like it's got a drip.

WRONG!

The side of the tank was starting to give and it was literally a ticking time bomb before it went on Sunday.

Sure, it flooded a section of the basement, wetting a couple of rugs and a small section of a wall. Luckily we drained the dead soldier and hauled it out and installed a new tank in about 1/2 hr.

Wet vac'd the floor and rugs and have been running the dehumidifier daily. Also lots of that "dampness removing" tubs.

Just another gripe in a long list of gripes about siblings who are great at complaining but not fixing an issue until it bites them on the arse!

I am a legend in my own mind!
