TFCTFN Feb 25, 2017 Food Thread
John, can you make this sticky?
OK, I know is early but we wanted to get a jump on things this year as we skipped last year. Vic (redsoxticket) has secured the VFW hall in Fairhaven for Feb 25th. Ricky has again volunteered to be chief cook and bottle washer (with help). I'm starting a spreadsheet for the food.
1. Lets get a good turnout. This is the only event that helps The Bossman keep the lights on here.
2. Please let us know (Redsoxticket. Rick Bomba and myself) what you will bring. We usually need everything.
3. I'm in for a case of water and 3 cheese cakes.

So, I have to re-up on my catering supplies this year, which will count for my food donation. I will be picking up tablecloths, sternos, chafing dishes, etc. I'll also bring a cooler for the soft drinks. We'll probably need one more.
Thanks,
Rick

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I return from a cruise that afternoon, I will do my best to get there with a pocket full of dough for raffles but can't promise a dish.

I'd love to find some way to attend but I know it would be wicked tough for me. If allowed without actually being there I'd like to buy a fistful of raffle tickets for that Niko charter. Please let me know. That's a heck of a donation. Thanks Paul!

Auh......now I get the acronym meaning. Sounds like a good time for a great cause. Im in....Is there a coordinator point man to contact to see what is needed as far as food..drink or do we just "wing it"...
I would assume people bring "fishy" things to raffle ?

You can post what you are bringing for food. Some type of finger food (wings, etc) always works. Or an entrée like meatballs or sausage and peppers. I have a spreadsheet going and as soon as we get enough guys to pony up, I'll post the spreadsheet.

John,
I think this is not sticky. Can you take a look?
I'll work on putting together the food list later tonight.
Thanks,
Rick
