Headin' fer Maine

Heading up north tonight for at least one day of fishing. Saturday will probably be devoted to the deck that I haven't been able to to stain for five weeks thanks to the rains. Weather is supposed to go downhill fast on Sunday. Spoke to a few reputable baitshops and was told that they have no idea what's going on, as the weather has been so bad that nobody has been fishing. It's finally sunny here in downtown Boston, but still pouring up north. Hope to report next week that the new Sealine X has lost its virginity, but it may not be the case. Still beats working.

RE:Headin' fer Maine

I am new to this board. this is my first reply. I live in portland and caught four stripers in the presumpscot last thursday 5-18-00 on slug-go's. since then the rain has really killed the action. I have been a few times since then but the water is quite cold and muddy I have not seen a thing in a week. The next couple of days are supposed to be sunny and warm. I think that is just what we need to turn the bite on. Good luck i'll probrably see you out there.
