Morning Trip

Headed out 0430 found pogies easily and that was that . no spots were holding bass, got some schoolies at spar Island but that was it. Arc Bait is cleaning house , north of the bridges and was off common fence point all day . encountered some huge schools of pogies in the thousands flashing by and the were moving out against the tide never seen them move that fast ,, and nothing under them .. beautiful day anyway .

wdmso- What was with the three Navy patrol boats heading out from Taunton just before noon. I saw the pogie boat but not the usual one out there. The marine patrol boat was also out off Commonfence Pt. also. I guess they were taking advantage of the nice day to spend some of our tax money.

Nah, it wasn't a jumper....., ARC hired some refugee that slipped by Trump-nation to act as a spotter from the bridge for any remaining schools of pogies in the bay. When he saw the blue-flashing lights he supposedly jumped the median and hopped on the back of a hay truck heading into Somerset....theory is, he's shacked up with that seal that's been hanging around the big Mamee' as of late.......heard she had been in heat with pups on the way....the guys family is hoping it looks like the mother...

Where else have you been fishing Wayne?
Just so I know where NOT to waste my time...

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

IMHO.. when the bait is easy to come by.. it's hard to find the fish...

But when you have 3 livies in the bait well that took 3 hours to catch... well most of us have been there...

A good run is better than a bad stand!
