shimano parts

I have a stradic 6000 fi and some how I broke the yoke at the bail , I tried red top but they said trying to get parts from shimano is so difficult that they don't even try any more , anyone got any thoughts ? the reel is only a couple of years old and I hate to toss it , it was not cheap . thanks

I would try ebay, or just call shimano.

Was going to say you could probably order right from shimano no problem. Can't find the link but they have a parts website.

no complaints with shimano America , I called mon. afternoon they said the part would arrive in 5 day it came in 4 , the repairs on the other hand were a bugger if the guts to the bail were any smaller I would have needed a microscope

Bucko's is closed! Out of business from what I hear, tried to sell (To Red Top i believe) but no interest. Last time I went in there it was bare bones and Sam, the kid who worked there said he was trying to sell it. Now its shut down completely.

Well that is one reel repair shop that deserves to close, I stopped using them well over a decade or two ago, they could send your reel back in worse condition then you gave it to them.

They were a good shop back in the day , on second street. But I went in there and they charged me 18$ for a bearing for a abu 6500. Never again

Yeah, they got wicked expensive near the end. I needed the cover nut Left side of reel, for a 7000C3. Charged me like $16.00 for it.

No boat, back in the suds.
