Whassupp???

Hi there! I just woke up half an hour ago and after helping do some dishes (new house WILL have a dishwasher) I wanted to put a little something something up on the board...
What's going on?

Working on pages for the NPSFA, Narragansett Pier Sport Fisherman's web site will be hosted here at Striped-Bass.Com so that should be up in a few days...

Hope to get alot more info and quality links up on the site. I have had several good links e-mailed in from people from the board so I'll get those up pretty soon. Also looking for some of you to forward articles related to fishing if you have something to say...

---- Anything as far as suggestions or requests, please e-mail me ----

After several weeks of chasing down new house stuff (generally a nightmare, specificaly a nightmare) I finally get out to do some fishing... Had some fun hanging out with Fisherwoman and Baitcaster on Thursday evening for about an hour and a half. Got a few mid 20 inch fish and alot of swirls - all top water action. The ratio of swirls and swing/misses to fish landed was about 8 to 1 at this Old Reliable Quincy fishing spot... Fisherwoman and Baitcaster had a client with them that day and the guy is now hooked to striper fishing. Bill and Juls really show clients how to fish. Certainly alot harder than just bringing someone to a place that holds fish... As usual they were both suffering from screaming drag syndrome ... If anyone out there wants a good refresher course or if you are just starting out chasing stripers, look them up!!! Highly recommended. I've learned a ton from them...

Fished "Old Reliable" last night for 2 hours, 10 fish to 31-32" (quickly releases, no accurate sizing) with alot of swirling fish. Evenly split between the popper and the teaser with one double header with both fish about 27-28 inches.
Afterwards, headed down to the Canal, fished for an hour and slept until 4 am when I started a little plugging in the Ditch while wishing I had herring with me. Well they guy next to me had herring but only one run from a bass, not hooked up... Very few at the Ditch today...

Talked with Mike @ M&D Tackle ( capecodtackle.com ) for a while, picked up some plugs. Waiting for some power handles and Abec bearings for the Mag Elites...

BTW - here is a picture of a Big Two-Handed Bass landed off the Elizabeth Islands at 2am a couple days ago!!! Was 47.5 inches long, 27" girth and just over 42 POUNDS!! Caught on a swimmer, sweet!!

Well, gotta go, leaving now for old reliable!!!
