Still squatting in West Dennis, no rush to go home. Week 1 got the house ready for the kids to come. They're getting ready to head back to NJ now, then week 2 til whenever I'll finally invest myself in Southside fishing endeavors. I hear blues are around. Been casting around Bass River for whatever, no catching yet...except when I reached between two rods leaning against the house for a faucet and a treble caught me just under my armpit. Daughter said it was the cleanest piercing she ever saw.

Some home projects Saturday.
Would like to sneak out Sun or Mon and find some codfish on Coxes, but will likely just stay local....

Just got back to CT from the Jersey shore. Probably hang around the house and get some chores done today and tomorrow then head back to the boat on Sunday or Monday.

My youngest, Evan, gets married on Sunday night. Lots to do, like drink beers and smoke cigars and such.
Right now dealing with motherly angst and all that. (not against, but only slightly better, thanks for catching that Ross)
Somehow Monty Python and The Holy Grail come to mind, "This is supposed to be a happy occasion, let's not bicker over who killed who..."
Time will tell.

I had a 105 year old red oak last year. Never got the diameter but what a beast. Had a mini skid steer to make it easy. This year I’m battling it with a tractor. Thankfully they are all about 16”. And already on th ground!

I am sleeping in. New job has me seeing stars. Getting ready to take Jack out for his 7th birthday next Saturday. All he wants to do is catch a big striper. Seems I can dial those things up on command. Have fun everybody. Eben, you deserve like eleven teen beers, IMHO.

Well I know the weekend is over but I've been off the grid since Thursday afternoon. Spent the weekend in Stoney Creek New York. Took the family camping and my son and his friend spent the entire time fresh water fishing. There is a chit load of ponds and rivers to fish in up there. They caught Bass (both large and small mouth), Pike, Pickerel, Lake trout, Crappie, and tons of small Blue Gill. Feels good to be home!
