You are not crazy are you? Most on this site are. Prerequisite to fishing with anyone is must be certifiable nuts.

No boat, back in the suds.

Well I am located in Waterbury,Ct. My wife thinks I am half nuts at times. She says that I have an addictive personality. I just started surf fishing last year. always fished out of a boat.

I am assuming you are saying 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Stripers are nocturnal especially now with the water temps. You should be throwing eels in the middle of the night. You will have a better shot at Stripers. Now is the toughest time of the season to get into decent Stripers. Way to high water temps.

Piemma , We arrived at 2:30am then fished the wall with eels, then plugs on the bluefish. That's when we got the blues. There were 9 guyz on the wall at 2:30 including us. One guy was there at 1am.Not 1 fish between anybody. That`s why I went on the beach at 4:30.

Just shows how bad the stocks have been depleted. Breachway at 2:30 AM on a dropping tide with eels, should be automatic!

That's what we thought. My cousin who lives in Providence was there the previous night and caught 5 stripers. 22-26 inch fish. He said there was 15-20 people there catching blues and stripers on SP`S. Go figure
