On the Run
Re-reading On the Run. It's amazing the fishing we had at the beginning of the century. The chapter about "Quonnie" stands out.
Also the meeting at Coddington with DZ, Habs, Tattoo, Crafty Angler, Iron Mike, etc. put a lump in my throat. I have fished with every one of those guys.

I bought the book back in the day and never read it its been sitting in my book case....saw this post and was going away for 2 weeks and figured it would be a good read on my trip! It was! Great book! 
Just sad a few of the books characters have since passed on.......they are missed. |
