Time to prepare
Respool your jigging reels..check your leaders..if you have auger blades that need sharpening get it done..
Safe ice for some is only a few weeks away.

Most of my gear is ready to go, couple of tweaks and I’m good. Only got out once last winter.

I never have... Surprisingly I found some old black and white photos of my dad ice fishing in the 50s or 60s... Have to see how the new knee plays in the cold. It is on the bucket list, but don't think NH is going to be welcoming us, Joe. Nevermind the shutdown that some think is just ahead of us...

Ross, I hit the local ponds around here if you ever want get out, I have probably 5-6 ponds within 10-15 minutes of my house that I can hit.

They will have to arrest me at the boarder, I'm going ice fishing, I pay alot of money in licenses and registrations, I'm not bothering anyone .. this whole shut down idea is being executed by people so stupid that they think releasing prisoners that are drug dealers and wife beaters is a good idea..when they screw their heads on straight, then and only then will I listen.
