Score!
I was fishing last night at a favorite spot when a young couple came down and started talking to me - turns out they own the house that looks down on my favorite spot.
They said I could park in their yard in exchange for some fish....(Which I delivered within the hour!)
Oh joy, oh rapture!

ya had more landowners like that in rhody? instead of I own this beach, can't fish here mister. damn, used to have a house on south side of green habah in marshfield, i would let anyone fish, as long as they put the trash in the barrel i had out!!! but those kids partying to sunup were a pain, never bothered e'm unless it got too loud. then i'd fire off the 10gauge in the air and yell get the f@^% outta here. worked pretty good and never had to get the police!!! good luck with your hole, nice to have good neighbors!!!!

RIJIMMY: “How does a ‘young couple’ afford a house on the beach? I'm doing something wrong.”
My guess is they made their money the old-fashioned way: It was given to them.
You’re not doing anything wrong Jim, the number one method of wealth-acquisition in this country is inheritance. (Number 2 is business ownership. Number three is a well-paying profession.)
